Our performance was very good tonight and the step up in levels from the recent weeks was very impressive. The defensive effort was sensational, particularly close to the line. The usual suspects were fantastic and the only thing stopping us looks to be our lack of potency in attack. It won't come in one week and we'll be lucky to get that back in the three we require it to get to Old Trafford.

Had the RFL sent a referee instead of a turnip it would have been closer still. Longy was rusty tonight and it cost us somewhat. It'll be interesting to see if Potter can do anything about the attack in the coming weeks.

Still a long way to go but I agree that it was much improved tonight, hopefully we can get a good win next week and keep improving into the play offs.

I actually though Long played well - ran the ball a bit and looked dangerous. Poor kick out on the ful and we struggled on a 5th or two, but in the circumstnaces I was pleased.

We'll be there or thereabouts and Longy will play a big part.

Long has always been like that. He's either superb or terrible. It didn't go his way tonight but the effort was there. Hopefully it'll click for one last hoorah.

Although Long wasn't all that great, I don't think you having an improved while he was playing is coincidence. He has a massive impact while on the pitch by his leadership and I think you'll miss him big time next year.

Has Potter any motivational skills?Hardly seems like it.The team spirit also seems sadly lacking.I have serious doubts about the guys ability to take the club forward.
