| I've now edited and uploaded the following games to add to those already on there -
Saints V Wigan - 1984 Lancashire Cup Final - Central Park.
Meninga's match and a great win on the pies own midden. One I Won't forget - and won't be allowed to as, in that year's Rothmans Year Book, the team were pictured in the dressing room after the match drinking from the trophy, with my old man joining in festivities! I've had to split this into 1st and 2nd half highlights again due to file size restrictions on youtube, but have put as much in there as I can.
Saints V Hull KR - 1985 Premiership Final - Elland Road.
Meninga's last match and a masterclass from Harry Pinner. Still not sure why they chose to play this at Elland Road, but I guess it was lucky for us that day. Also note a certain Stan Wall's last competetive match in charge here.
After a number of requests I've also added Les Quirk's try V Wigan in the 1990 semi at Old Trafford - what a Stretford End bounce that was! - and I'll edit and upload the 89-91 semi's and the 1971 Championship Final next when I get chance.
As i can't link youtube games here, if you go online and type in Wigan V St Helens 1984 I'm sure you'll find them. If not give me a shout.
Enjoy!

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

Edwards had more wins than loses over the saints in his career, a statistic no doubt young Sam will emulate, in time.
