| Why get help?Where was help for widnes, halifax, doncaster, swinton and rochdale?I am bitter and we need promotion and relegation back or heartland clubs will disappear.I will never watch rugby league if my club went totally.I would support rugby union so i think we should treat all clubs fairly.Never known a sport without promotion and relegation.Nothing to play for really? If say widnes won northern rail on sunday, they pick toulouse next or gateshead for a franchise. No heartland clubs will get into superleague again it all on expansion.I love union doing so well cos i feel angry now.Wish some superleague teams see the unfairness.

| Don't worry about it, they're as good as gone. In this climate news of financial problems will have potential investors and sponsors running for the hills. Their only hope is another wealthy backer, but as there are so few in RL in general it's mighty unlikely.
I'd bet this season will be their last.

I want to be fair for leigh, halifax, batley or whatever club to be honest.I felt for doncaster going into adminisration as had a nice ground.Widnes has potential and i was upset seeing one of our academy talents go to salford.I feel we are a feeder team.Thankyou i just feel so upset.

If the RFL have resources available to assist (not finances) then why not help? I believe they have helped plenty of clbs during the past few years (lower league clubs) who have been at risk or have gone into administration.
I know it doesn't fit in with your paranoid views, but the RFL doesn;t want to see any club go bust, whether that is Doncaster or Celtic.
Also, there are plenty of sports without promotion and relegation. Pretty much all American and Australian ones for starters.

Exactly, if any club is struggling then the RFL should provide support for them in order to help them sort the problems. I don't see how stepping in to advise the club and help them find sponsors/investors can be a problem.

Easy for you to say when your team is already in superleague. If your team was in widnes postion you be moaning i bet.If wakey, salford etc spent as long as widnes in the championship they would lose alot of fans and struggle. We got academy, foundation, reserves and starting to get a decent first team.Only the cap effecting us paying more as stobarts have the finance. We got a decent fan base and would double if got into superleague.Teams are lucky to bring a mini bus to widnes.

If you don't want the opinions of supporters whose teams are in Super League why post on here?

That is all irellevant to the RFL helping a struggling club. Why is this a discussion about franchising again? Let it go, you didn't get in, and the RFL told you why. The way you are going, you are looking good for next time.
