If you do decide to drive then there is plenty of parking, get there early enough and park by the Red Robin or park round the back of the ground and there is plenty of parking there.
But getting away can be a pain in the backside if you have to use saddle junction.

Games as big as Grand Finals define individuals and clubs. Remember, we only rent these journeys. In my time I had Pat Richard's shirt. Ellery Hanley had Sean O'Loughlin's jersey. Sam Tomkins is wearing Radders' number one jersey. Andy Coley is wearing Shaun Wayne's jersey. You have to make a mark in these shirts before you hand it down to someone else. Hand it back. So be aware for 80 minutes that you are not only playing, but you are also writing history and creating legacy. How many people actually write history - not many? From a Wiganers point of view. if i was travelling back to St. Helens and had to drive i would park along Montrose avenue or even the Montrose pub (WN5 9RL). From there you can get away straight up Montrose ave and either at the top turn to Pemberton/Orrell or turn right and go past Heinz's up to Orrell post/ Billinge /carr mill way. No bottlenecks.
