Yes. Once the ban has been served.
They haven't 'lost their way', incidentally. They have chosen to take drugs. That is their responsibility.

otherwise, more of them might end up in a bad way.
Whilst taking drugs in sport is bad, it's not the end of the world and the embrassment alone is often enough to show they wont do it again.
we can't let these people fall into bad ways, we are a better sport than that.'"
I completely think that the RFL should support these players centrally, it is a complete conflict of interests to tell the clubs they are not allowed to employ these players but also must support them while banned.
My issue in this case is he was banned for two years from training and playing. The bans could easily be just from playing and not training.
What Hock did was nothing compared to what Newton did, Gaz Hock wasnt cheating, he was just dumb.

Gleeson had more than one chance at Wigan. He was dropped last year for "poor discipline"

| The Wigan club should be ashamed that they even attempted to get his ban cut short.

| TBH what does it matter. The ruling does seem to suggest that taking drugs isnt as bad as people make it out to be, however, I have been taking drugs for years now and it hasnt done me any harm whatsoever. <<<

Which at the time you said was for a "laughable" minor breach, did you not?

It was, and it was a minor breach. There may have been others which I haven't heard about, but the last one allegedly was similar to Jordan Tanseys at Hull.

Were on about the goons ducking and diveing to get drugy back into training before his ban Is up.
Your point about Raynor playing after he's been released Is irrelevant.

But wasn't Raynor released early from his sentence?
Hock will STILL not be ALLOWED to PLAY before his ban is up (quite rightly)

If the club he now plays for asked for him to be released early you have a point.
If not..

| Not sure why people are concerned about Hock, he is a cancer, a disruptive influence, and crap role model for the younger players, much like Newton and Connoly were. Wigan have struggled with the drinking culture for years, and then the odd player with only half a brain cell takes things further. So long as the club gives a home to players like Gleeson and Hock, the culture will persist. Having him aroud the club will do far more damage than good.

a bit harsh, to me hock is just plain dumb. He appears to be the type of person who is easily led by others, but not malicously bad pad person
