Some great play from Saints going forward sees some off the cuff play should have resulted in a try for Anthony Laffranchi. Jonny Lomax grubbers the ball through and Laffranchi knocks on in the in goal area.

Saints threatening once again and on the last tackle Saints run the power play. Lomax gives a short ball to Soliola but he knocks on and gives the ball back to Hull FC.

Hull FC put a high bomb up for Paul Wellens to deal with 10m out from his own line. Wellens is taken out in the act of catching the ball and Saints have the opportunity to come away with the penalty.

Saints play out the set of six and have Hull pinned down in their own 10m.

Hull with a scrappy play on the last sees Kirk Yeaman putting boot to ball. The ball bounces out on Saints 40m line, good field position for Saints to possibly attack from.

15m out Gaskell gives Laffranchi a poor ball which is knocked on and swooped on by Willie Manu. Hull come away strongly and make in roads into the Saints half.

Hull with another poor last tackle play sees the ball end up with Tom Briscoe who kicks the ball dead in goal.

Puletua with a strong drive and Saints are over half way now.

Jonny Lomax puts a great bomb up on the last but some good play from Wade McKinnon as he takes it and keeps in the field of play.

Soliola puts another big hit in, this time on Ricahrd Whiting. On the next play Laffranchi gives a penalty away and is then marched a further 10m for back chat.

Kirk Yeaman goes close after swooping on a loose pass but its held just short. Last tackle kick from Brett Seymour is knocked on by Saints and Hull FC get a scrum 10m out.

Kick on the last tackle is covered by Paul Wellens. It is deemed that a Hull FC player has been taken out by Ade Gardner and a penalty given to Hull FC. Pressure is mounting on Saints.

Brett Seymour knocks the ball on in a crucial position and turns the ball over after mounting a ton of pressure.

A great play by Saints with Lomax linking to Wellens, giving it onto Shenton and finally to Ade Gardner who squeezes in at the corner.

Jamie Foster misses the goal from the touchline so it remains 4 - 0 to Saints.

Kirk Yeaman leaves the field of play with an injury, replaced by Jordan Turner.

Elsewhere Leeds have taken the lead with a converted Danny McGuire try. Leeds 6 - 0 Warrington

Hull with good play down the right hand side sees them get close to Saints line. The kick is charged down by Wilkin who regathers the ball, Saints come away on the half way line.

Brett Seymour puts Tony Martin through the gap, Martin beats Jamie Foster but is well tackled on the cover by Paul Wellens. Tony Martin gets a quick play of the ball, perhaps too quick, Paul Wellens dives on the ball.

Saints come away with some good play through Michael Shenton but a poor play of the ball has forced Ade Gardner into a knock on around the half way line.

Some good play by Hull and Wade McKinnon throws the dummy to get over for the try.
