Experimenting by playing 3 players out of position. Sounds unlikely to me. Long and Eastmond are very similarly styled players. Wellens would do okay at left , but lack of pace would be a worry. Meanwhile Pryce has always been reluctant to play fullback?
Seems a bit late in the season to be trying new things. On the other hand, maybe a change is what is necessary, we can't carry on the same tactics and win the Grand Final.

I like it. Defo worth a go now. If it works, then we have a good new option for the play offs. If not, at least this game isn't that important in the long run.

So Eastmond and Pryce can't play together because they are similarly styled players, and Eastmond and Long can't play together because they are similarly styled players.
How the hell do Long and Pryce play together then?

I never said they can't play well together. I said I thought it was unlikely they would be picked, because they have similar styles. In my opinion Long and Pryce aren't similar at all.
It is also not just about their offensive styles, but also there defence. Long and Eastmond would both be targets.
They are both number 7s for me (Pryce is not a 7!).
I don't think it was an unreasonable point.

18821_1298880800.jpg
I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.

Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.
Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.
Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666
0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".
Therefore ZERO.
Kinell,he's had all season to experiment so he goes and does it now.
Very bizzare if true.

From what I've seen, longy and Kyle play nothing like each other.
Longy is more of playmaker and Kyle is a runner.

Are they? It's always struck me that Pryce and Eastmond are similar. In fact, Eastmond himself has said as much. If Long and Pryce complement each other then really so should Long and Eastmond. Eastmond definitely isn't an organiser (as yet?) on the evidence of this season anyway and so really shouldn't be given the no.7 jersey in a match against Leeds. Mind you, I wouldn't be changing anyone around against Leeds. Given that Potter was changing the squad around even before injuries hit, I wouldn't put it past him to do so again tonight. However, I hope he doesn't. I think we need stability not yet more change.

He's fast enough. Gidley started as a 6 many moons ago and he's turned out ok

| You deserved that try after JJB intentionally tried to take out your best player with a chicken wing.

Not a go at you personally, sorry, more a nod towards what others are saying.
I agree with you, Eastmond is more like Long than Pryce. IMO he could play with either given a decent run with the same half back partner.
