You finished 6th last year (5th the year before)...do you know when the last time Saints finished 6th in the table mate? I'll tell you, the 1990-91 season. We still got to Wembley that year.. That's what it means to be a big club. To always be there or thereabouts. We finished 4th this year and most of the season we've been shouting for our coaches head because we demand a certain standard on a regular basis, season after season.

Warrington are a million miles away from sharing Wigan, Leeds and Saints pedestal.

Bradford are nowhere near the three most successful clubs. Swinton and Salford have won more the same amount of championship as Bradford. Huddersfield have won more championships and more CCs than Bradford

Watch a dull as dishwater side making no finals, with a statue outside representing the static qualities

Option 2:
Side in the CC final, ll shield and GF final playing proper entertaining rl.

I'm not going to mention the playing rota of both clubs:

Option 1: watching paint dry

I know saints are the biggest club v us at the mo, but you're the gift that keeps giving. For years you've laughed at us but now the shoe is on the other foot.

I guess 5/5 losses v Leeds is statistically the same- 100%.. Yes you won in 2006 but times change. I'm not worried about the cuban missile crisis anymore, (it was still 8 years after we won!). You're rubbish now, face it.

I don't think you've got a yardstick to measure against at the moment, our Leeds losses knocked us down to a 40% success rate (GF), its strange that the form teams this year in Hull and Warrington both have zero success rate and 100% failure as far as the ultimate yardstick of super league champions is concerned.
Our problem here at Saints is that we have not had a decent pair of half backs working together for the past 9 years, hence the lack of creativity and open play. We are "grinders" but will always be competitive especially as the standard of super league falls year by year.

As a Wigan fan I hope this thread beats the Joints voluntary tackle thread way back in 2002!!!!!

They're a big club with great success, but some on here, not all, like to belittle the Wire. They've taken the out of us for a good few years, perhaps rightly so, but the shoe is on the other foot now. If they hadn't taken the so much, then we'd be ok. They're still trying to take the even though they've done f all bar the jammy GF win in recent years. We don't try and laugh at other clubs misfortunes like they did at our club. But the tide is turning. They were laughing at us when we attempted to buy Sandow. The day after they announced Dominique Peyroux. The thing is, I have no problem with any club signing anyone, but, if you're taking the , then expect it back. And that Sandow Peyroux thing was perfect. Saints fans taking the as usual saying no chance of signing Sandow and what how could we, the 'minnows'' Warrington sign someone like that. We got him and the day after they signed Peyroux. It was funny in Wire quarters. We're generally good fans and will always give credit where it's due. But when someone takes the for years, it's lovely when when things are reversed.

So why did someone on here ask who had paid for our transfers in a derogatory way?
