Roby was owned. Doesn't take anything away from Roby as a player.
As for the forearm, difficult to tell from the stands, both for fans and commetators. If its on report, then it will be looked at by the RFL and we'll see. I suspect there was nothing wrong with it though.

Its Rugby League. Of course Hull fans are going to cheer a big hit and the fact that it was a big enough hit to knock the wind out of him - I've watched many Saints games at KR were your fans have reacted exactly the same - and like Saints fans, once Hull fans realised he was going to need help to leave the field there was the usual respectful applause.
Stop been so bloody PC. Its sports, it always been that way. If you don't like it, I believe the new Sex in the City movie is out. |

It looked to me like Ogre saw Roby about to blind side him and just dropped his shoulder and Roby took his shoulder straight to the chin. I'm positive there was no foul play, just one of those unfortunate things that happen sometimes. |

As for Roby and Ogre, from what I saw it was a good ,hard contact.
Of course I could be bias.
And yes Roby did get applause from Hull fans as he went off.

I said there was a report on the red button show that there might have been an illegal tackle, because it was reported as that. It was reported by the Sky guy who had been at the match. |

All I can find are
I was referring to the Saints website, the Sky Red Button report and also a few people have told me (who were able to make the game) that it could have been illegal but i don't think they had the best view.

Can't understand why on SkySports website they report "With England hooker Roby leaving the field after a heavy collision, Hull turned hope into a reality as Danny Houghton pounced on a loose ball after Long's kick, to slip in under the posts and bring his side back to within eight points." if they have shown evidence of him using an elbow?
As I was writing this the highlights came on SkySports News. It only shows Meli out jumping Whiting then Tickles winning drop goal. Where did you see the elbow? |
