3076_1671446335.jpg SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

I asked a similar question on Red Vee regarding the question of why the bigger West Stand had not been allocated to the Saints supporters, a genuine question.
But guess what, it was met with the usual abuse.

Just been told by the Club that as the East Stand is better facility wise they've therefore decided to move us all down there.
As for season ticket sales they're going "better than expected"

they way no one at the club is willing to give a straight answer over season tickets leads me to think they are less than they'd hoped for, and i'm usually a glass half full type

| Quote: SaintsFan "Um, Warrington fans aren't going to be renting the Stobart for a full season so it's totally irrelevant what they think. Saints fans are going to be using the East Stand throughout 2011 so it is important, given that Saints club are paying rent to Halton Council, that all the fans have a good chance of seeing the screen.'"
What has paying rent to HBC got to do with people in the East Stand watching the tele? The screen (at all grounds) goes in the safest place, where the majority can see, you've not even watched a game at Widnes with the screen in place therefore you don't know how obstructed you will be. All this for 5-6 matches a year. And here's me thinking you were renting the ground to watch what was on the pitch.
You should be pleased that such a good ground was a 20 minute drive from St Helens when you couldn't time the building of a new stadium and the end of your old one very well. Seeing the big screen isn't a big deal when you have a comfortable ground to play your rugby in in the meantime!

Actually for at least 12 matches and when a decision is being made, being able to watch the screen is very much a part of watching what is on the pitch. You will find this out should you make it back to Superleague.

There is a better ground with better facilities at Leigh. But Saints chose Widnes. Perhaps because the no.17 bus goes there.

| So 12 of your home games will be on Sky this year? Lucky you, seems like alot.
I go to alot of SL games thanks, know all about the big screen. I just see your point as a major side issue that isn't really that important on the grand scheme of having somewhere to play this year when your club messed up having a stadium ready in time. You think Leigh's is better, that's your opinion that you're entitled to.

If we get into the playoffs and make it to the Challenge Cup round before the semis then feasibly yes. But that isn't the point. The point is that a lot of Saints fans can't see the screen and Saints are paying rent to play there for the season. That doesn't apply to Widnes because their away end is the East Stand.

Then try it yourself for a season and see how you like it since you think I should be ever so grateful! (I would be if Widnes were paying the rent for us! )

Most of you have been moaning that the Stobart is too small yet you think Leigh is better.

I think Leigh is better yes but I haven't been moaning about the size of the Stobart. I've only been moaning about the positioning of the screen. That's all there is to moan about so far as the Stobart is concerned, for me anyway. I like the Sports Cafe at the Hobart.
