On the flip side. Leeds where shi*e in attack too! They had more ball than us with the penalties they recieved. For me we looked dangerous when we enterd there half. We made huge strides in there defence with our props.

I don't think we looked danerous with ball all night. Maybe the odd time but I think with ball in hand we was very poor again.
I thought the forwards played a lot better than over last few months which is prob down to having a good bench for 1st time in a while.
If last nights game is anything to go by I don't think we our that far off clicking.
If the attack clicks then we will defo be there or there abouts.

I would say very good rather than fantastic but otherwise I would agree with you. There's still something not right with our attack. I thought Longy did ok (with the exception of a couple of brain farts). His kick back up field in the second half when Leeds played that cynical kick out of play was a good sign: showed someone was thinking creatively for a change. We desperately need that creativity to return.

| Thought we were OK moving out of our 20 metres into Leeds 20 metres, it was the plays near Leeds line which were too predictable. You could probably have said the same when Leeds were attacking our line.
Cutting down the errors and completing sets should put us back in some sort of form for the play offs.

I think between Leeds and Saints though there is always going to be an element of predictability. The two teams know each other very well.

| Great improvement against Leeds.........We will improve, and Leeds wont....If you take away the try from a forward pass and the ball steal against Eastmond the result would have been different........

| Here, here, moral victory tonight and a 1000% improvement on the Huddersfield games.
It wasn't really an 8 point ball game. I never believed we would win on Friday and all I was hoping for was a performance. It's exactly what we got, Graham and co put pride back in the shirt, KC had a blinder too.

You keep praying for that to happen!!
There's plenty of more to come from both teams and it showed that they are still the best 2 teams in this league!!!
As for another meeting between the 2 BRING IT ON!!

If my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle.
You were light years away from how badly you played against Huddersfield. I think mistakes at crucial times cost you. Longy dropping the ball in our 20 late on was an important one for me.

| I thought we did well going forward for the most part - we gained good field position more often than not with good speed out of the ruck. The problem was (and has been for most of the season) the set moves when in good field position. Nothing seemed to be organised, not enough people were running lines off the ball and we generally didn't look dangerous at all when attacking the line. Some credit should go to Leeds for that but I thought we were in position enough times to put a lot more points on the board.
Improvement needed, and we have improved a lot defensively going off Friday so I hope we can do similar in the next couple of weeks.
