Yeh, but you just wait until he does a mildly arrogant tweet and you see grown men wretching and vomiting out of their prams. It's a terrible sight that many in St Helens haven't yet got over.

There were worse rumours around the town though... some said that he was a young man who spent ... and I'm reticent to even post this.... spent time on his own personal grooming. Yes, there you go it's out in the open... it is said he took care to dress well, kept himself clean and on occasion wore cologne.

You've been warned I tell you, you've been warned.

Quote: Bullseye "Hope Foster re-signs for us. He's been very decent indeed so far. He may not be the quickest but he's got a good rugby brain and decent core skills. I can see him moving to fullback or centre at some stage in his career.

If you've already got better than him then that's great for you. We certainly haven't (we only have 2 wingers in our squad).

As for his attitude he's done nothing but impress since he came to Bradford.'"

His attitude was always good - lots of energy and enthusiasm. This combined with a decent rugby brain as you mention will see him crop up in the right place at the right time - mainly when scrambling or chasing back in defence.

He's not blessed with size and although of decent pace, its nothing to right home about.he does have skills though, and you'll see that he threatens most when he gets a team mate outside him. For this reason, I think if he's to be a genuine superleague success past his goal kicking, he needs to move from the wing to centre or (preferably for me) full back.

His biggest issue at Saints was that he signed his first major contract and in his head, he thought he'd made the big time. He failed to continue his development whilst other players pushing for his spot were motivated to continue to work hard. Eventually, they overtook him in the pecking order but he couldn't understand why. That's the top and bottom of it.

What a fantastic summary of the situation

If you talk to anyone who had direct contact with JF during his time at Saints they will tell you he worked as hard as anyone and harder than most. Working hard to improve his game was definitely not an issue.

The underlying point about him going down the pecking order though is correct, but it wasn't because a lack of effort or hard work on his part.

So the bottom line is that we had better youngsters than him coming through. I liked him and thought it was a bit harsh to blame him for the teams ills this time last year. However, having now seen some of the other kids coming through the decision to let him go has been proved correct. The one thing we will miss though (and are missing badly this year) is his goal kicking.

As i've said, he was always very energetic and eunthusiastic on the pitch and I think Royce implied something similar about him in training.

Its nice to see him getting a run in a superleague side and enjoying his rugby again. As for the team spirit at Bradford - they h ave been through the mill over the last season or so, so it doesn't suprise me there's a good spirit in the dressing room now they're up and running again.

Never had the slightest issue with his effort or attitude, he had a very good attitude in my opinion.

Only to the blind I suppose. I've always been a fan of Foster. Had the mickey taken out of me in massive spades on here for it, as per the norm. Given that it is easy to prove that I have consistently supported Foster, just by looking at my posts on the subject, posting an article by him that includes interesting comments about the fans in particular wouldn't be a surprise to anyone who actually read my posts rather than just made up what I wrote because it suited their childish purposes.

Your love of Foster is well known but it still doesnt change the fact he is a limited player (especially on the wing) with a world class goal kicking talent. We have better, he's moved on to get first team Rugby good luck to him.

However, it does prove that I am not trolling, which is the daft post I was replying to.
