They want money all the time, i've been with them 8 years and even paid out when i was at college on 30 quid a week. Snotty basta*ds!

| Well just had manager on phone and after threatning to quit he as said he will upgrade me to HD for free instilation and I get 9 months free. Sorted just shows complaining does get you somewhere.

My friend works for sky and they are only allowed a set quota per day of free stuff to people who complain, so if the quota is gone, unlucky, they will just say fine, leave us then.

So did I several times and it still didn't work. Thing is that the repairs dept weren't chuffed that customer support pased me on to them. Neither was I particularly as I was on hold for ten minutes at home then drove down to Tesco and was still on hold and had the final discussion some 20 mins later walking round Tesco.

| My Sky picture was awful tonight. Cunningham looked like a big fat weeble, saints looked like they were playing in slow motion and two of their tries contained passed that looked a mile forward. It also made the supporters look like like recruits for fat camp and gave the impression that no-one actually turned up to watch the game.

| I have had many problems since starting a sky+ subscription 5 years ago. I am now on my 4th box. Every time you get a reminder about warranty, make a note of it. within one month your box will start sticking more often and eventually be stuck on standby. Sky try to charge £68 for an engineer and a replacemnet (which loses all your saved programmes). But when i mention that i am going to go to the press about the link between end of warranty and failure, I get it free. Inconvenient, but no extra cost!!
Sky must make millions from this when people shell out their £68!!!

| Can Sky do it on purpose ? I mean since i agreed to switch to HD (albeit i'm getting 12 months free) the box is now working fine although on the odd occasion it goes on standby.
Co-incidence? I think not!

| The customer service person i spke to said that it was impossible for them to do anything to my box, but when i asked why it nees to be connected to a phone line she said that it was so they can conduct updates. When i then said that technically they could "update" my box to not work, she backed down and offered me the freebie tech visit
