If we had lost I would want to blame someone, but I hope it would be the way we played the game and not a bad call from Thaler. Wigan is not a side of thugs, (nor are The Saints) it's a hard game for hard men, that's one reason we like it. Magennis was throwing punches at anyone in reach - he landed a couple on SoL after he'd broken it up between him and Tuson, and was heading in for more when Mossop floored him - it was probably the only way to stop him to be fair.

Out of all of it there was only Magennis who I thought was really out of order for puncing a bloke who wasn't even looking at him.

All the others - yellow cards would have been fine - reminded me abit of the times cowie and fogarty were scrumming down.

Well done? He didn't front up, he blindsided someone, which makes him a pathetic coward.

Magennis and Tuson hadn't had a fight up to then. They'd just grabbed each other's shirts. Their conflict was over, and Tuson turned TO FACE the main fight.
