| Quote: The Biffs Back "Maurice Lindsay was a very good RL administrator, although he still has his enemies within the world game!
Wasn't he involved in the Super League RL war that was responsible for the break up of the game down under between the Super League and the ARL?
Did he not once quote in these dealings that"history is bunk."?
When questioned on the AshesLindsay replied
Whelan and Lindsay were also believed to be the dream team to save Wigan RL, but sadly both exited stage left after delivering nowt in their time there!
He also didnt fit in with the salary cap did he?
And who do you think brought the salary cap into British Rugby League?

"You are mentally ill and I can't indulge your madness any more"

| I think Warrington are pretty clever so doubt anything will happen with them

| Whelan and Mo didn't win much in their time at Wigan I agree.
The one thing they did win was the Challenge Cup in 2002.
Remind me again who Wigan beat in that game!
As for Saints being up to the cap.
I was told, rightly or wrongly, that only five clubs spent the cap in 2010.
Saints, Wigan, Leeds, Hull FC and Warrington.

| The only thing Lindsay was good at was hewing a swathe of destruction across wherever he happened to be (oh, and spending other people's money).
He dug Wigan into a grave and then left Jack Robinson with the coffin (bought on tick). His spell at Red Hall was an unmitigated disaster and he made a prize prat of himself when he teamed up with Murdoch, Ribot et al and started pontificating to the Aussies about the deficiencies of the ARL (!!!).
A crass and shallow snake oil salesman who thrived in a sport which at the time was devoid of ideas and suffocated by self-interest. Comparisons with someone like Richard Lewis can only be viewed as comical.
