they are probably trying to work out how to get 9 into the play off next year, whilst the top 2 can choose teams from the Championship as their round 2 teams whilst ensuring the bottom 5 teams play off for the championshhip of the world.

| Quote: Sibbs Rhinos "The rfl need to look at this seriously. Lee smith a potential Eng full back and Eastomond potential Eng scrum half off to union. Both of these players looked potentially world class. We need to split the salary cap for overseas and homegrown players!'"
I agree 100%!
The RFL needs to do something with the SC for home grown players.
They should be some reduction from the cap for home grown players.

Piss around with the SC all you like. The simple fact is that RU has so much more money it doesn't even merit considering it.

| Don't believe everything written in the paper. It is amazing that Martin Offiah is kyle's agent and he has a good friend on the MEN sports department to create these stories. According to one of the backroom staff at Sale, they haven't looked at Kyle, because, he isn't what they require to supplement their playing personnel at this present moment in time. They are tracking a rugby league player, but, he wouldn't say who or which club he plays for.Plus he added that League players tend not to make it in rugby union, because, of the technical side to it and not enough experience in this sport to exploit weakness of their opponents in games.

It reads like a press release too.

Stephen Myler, one of the test players to play in SL is heading towards an England cap. Maybe it is only the decent players that have trouble handling the 'technicalities'.
Stop peddling the propaganda.

| If he goes, and I hope he doesn't, then we can't afford a full season of him bedding into the 7 position if we aren't going to reap the benefits the year after.

| If Eastmond is only interested in money - despite not yet having developed a worth for it - then he's probably not the right man for the job anyway.
But a decision needs to arrive - sooner rather than later.

Saints should not break the bank as we no he has potential but he's not commanded any games for us yet
Yes a few bits of magic here and there but not as good as say young Tompkins yet
And if he does not sign a contract we should look to someone else for next year and let him play reserve rugby (little upstart)

| The RFL and clubs need to come up with some sort of initative to save the young British players being poaching i.e Myler & Ashton at Northampton and Smith at Wasps...
Players like Westerman, Eastmond, Tomkins, Myler, Burgess, Hall etc... need to be protected and kept within Rugby League... we need our priorities in order... GET YOUR WALLETS OUT SAINTS!
