Beaumont seems to be built similar to Hock. Runs it in well and defends with a lot of aggression. But he looked like bambi at times, unsure what he should be doing and late to react to everything and late getting back into the line. He seemed to play about 20 minutes and they go off with cramp at the end, if it was him.

Carlile seems a shorter version of Howarth, offers nothing that I can see being beneficial to us.

Beaumonts game time considering his age is shocking. Not a player I would have associated with St Helens.
