| It hurts when it's a Rugby Union club that is in for him, I'd rather him sign for Wigan (and that is saying something). But at the end of the day Saints can't afford to give him a huge chunk of the cap when he is still unproven, which is undoubtedly what Offiah will be pushing for.
If you want a challenge Kyle, go to Australia. If you want to risk it for the money, fair play, and best of luck.

| The rfl need to look at this seriously. Lee smith a potential Eng full back and Eastomond potential Eng scrum half off to union. Both of these players looked potentially world class. We need to split the salary cap for overseas and homegrown players!

It would be to sensible for the RFL to try such a thing though.

they are probably trying to work out how to get 9 into the play off next year, whilst the top 2 can choose teams from the Championship as their round 2 teams whilst ensuring the bottom 5 teams play off for the championshhip of the world.

I agree 100%!
The RFL needs to do something with the SC for home grown players.
They should be some reduction from the cap for home grown players.

Piss around with the SC all you like. The simple fact is that RU has so much more money it doesn't even merit considering it.

| Don't believe everything written in the paper. It is amazing that Martin Offiah is kyle's agent and he has a good friend on the MEN sports department to create these stories. According to one of the backroom staff at Sale, they haven't looked at Kyle, because, he isn't what they require to supplement their playing personnel at this present moment in time. They are tracking a rugby league player, but, he wouldn't say who or which club he plays for.Plus he added that League players tend not to make it in rugby union, because, of the technical side to it and not enough experience in this sport to exploit weakness of their opponents in games.

Stephen Myler, one of the test players to play in SL is heading towards an England cap. Maybe it is only the decent players that have trouble handling the 'technicalities'.
Stop peddling the propaganda.
