Anyone else excited already?

It's a positive for the sport I guess that 8,000 extra Wiganers are turning up just to see St Helens play. But it's a game we never win so I'll not get too excited about it.

I was panicking a bit yesterday, left it late getting a ticket, managed to order one from the last 100 yesterday afternoon, picked it up today, so I,m sorted.
Probabably be over 5000 saints fans.......a good effort.

The stand for away fans holds about 5400 if they're all used. Should be an unreal atmosphere either way.

I'm taking a couple of RL virgins inc. a Chelsea season ticket holder so let's hope we show her why our games better than soccer!

Roby with concussion, Burns potential fracture to his cheek/eye socket and Vea going down late on. We need those three to win and even with all three the first 20 will be vital. They are playing better and we've got the potential to cop a beating.

Vea was fine and clapped the fans at the end, Roby will play come hell or high water as he always does. Whilst the swelling on burns is bad, I don't think if there was a chance of a fracture we wouldn't of let him continue past halftime. Hopefully greenwood will be back too.

They won't know though. He was determined to stay on, which was very brave. But if he's got a fracture there, even a tiny one, it'll be the size of an apple tomorrow, he could be out weeks. Fingers crossed he's fine.

Like your positive outlook, really do BUT... If Roby is concussed an still fails the test Thursday night he can run to France and back he won't be playing simple as that .

They don't fill the stand unfortunately, 10% have to be left for H&S reasons. But agree, the atmosphere will be outstanding as always.

We were far from impressive even in a win by 40+ points.

In a way I think yesterday will do the team good. Obviously losing isn't great but you have to believe that the team will be even more intent on winning now and getting back on track.
