Quote: Judder Man "According to the commentary we didn't seem to be getting the rub of the green especially the penalty count which I think ended up 11-2 in Hulls favour. Sounded as though despite the points against we put in a reasonable good shift on defence but came up with sloppy plays in attack.
I suppose the Walsh injury scuppered some of our attacking plays, we were well in the game for a win until Houghton put in a 40-20 kick and then scored off the back of it. Jack Ashworth and Jordan Turner seemed to put in a good performance, LMS put in a lot of effort and then ruined it all with that dumb tackle towards the end.
Didn't expect a win but at least we battled away, commentary mentioned a poor quality game with lots of errors giving it some entertainment value.'"
didnt get the rub of the green in the penalty count? you were lucky you weren't penalised more! from minute 1 to 80 saints tactics were to slow the ptb at every opportunity, encroach the 10, which hewer did correctly pin you for two or three times
as for your 3rd try, you should be thanking hewer for allowing it, saints player passes it forwards, snyed knocks it back, (vea?) scores.
fwiw we messed up with the 40/20 scrum, thompson knocked on at the line, it was the set before we scored
