Now that the evidence has come to bear post match that it was highly likely premeditated I don,t think the saints players will let it go.

Green was found guilty and banned for 2 as per regulations. He took an EPG and that was reduced to 1 game.

Its unfortunate that Burns got a bad injury but if you looks at Greens disciplinary record its pretty clean, he's not that type of player. Its also possible that his injury was made worse by playing on for 70+ minutes after the event which is either Burns fault or the doc's.

Completely agree - except for motive's as that is speculation and I genuinely don't believe that the tackle was premeditated. Dangerous - yes, late - yes and illegal - yes. Was the ban in line with the offence - yes, based on current rules but they are ridiculous. Injury to Burns has amplified the situation, had this happened to Kelly for Rovers I would be as miffed as the Saints supporters.

Ultimately McManus and Hudgell are in violent agreement, as are the majority of fans from both clubs. The disciplinary process is massively broken and completely inconsistent.
