What a loon - hope they increase the ban for wasting their time.'"
I'd love to know what their defense case is. The Wigan club really do lack class, very similar to the way Liverpool have behaved over the past 12-18 months.
Wane in particular is showing no class at all, and could probably end up in legal trouble after his allegation:
Quote saint at wire="RFL disciplinary"Mr Wane (Head Coach) added that his opponent initiated the confrontation by head-butting Mr Hock'"
Hock's lack of intelligence is also well noted, but he's even at it throwing in the next allegation:
Quote saint at wire="RFL disciplinary"Mr Hock concurred with this view and added that during the confrontation his opponent through a number of punches which he then retaliated to.'"
So whilst we saw Hock try to steal the head at the scrum and then try to batter LMS when he stood up to him, what actually happened was LMS headbutted poor Gareth, then threw a series of punches at him, forcing him to retaliate.
Quote saint at wire="RFL disciplinary"Mr Wane added that since joining Wigan Mr Hock’s behaviour has been impeccable both on and off the field.'"
Despite him this week receiving a formal written warning from the RFL for his conduct during the derby at Langtree Park. You simply couldn't make this up.
But luckily, the panel saw through this and noted:
Quote saint at wire="RFL disciplinary"Aggravating Factors Poor disciplinary record. The Committee are of the view that Mr Hock clearly initiates the confrontation and that he was not provoked by his opponent. '"
I can't wait to see what levels Wane will take it to next. An appeal from his Grandmother? An impassioned plea for leniency from Aung San Suu Kyi? I seriously hope they add to his ban, after the conclusions made to this hearing, it would be utterly ridiculous if they didn't.
