I've never been told by any managment I've worked for not to talk about my wage with my co-workers/mates.we go out,we drink,we talk too....but iv never asked/been asked what each one earns and I wouldnt expect to either.
Anyway thats getting away from the point.I totally agree that it would be very hard to prove and that it isn't the players responsibility anyway,but that still dosn't mean your right and that they were all in on it!

I turned Warrington down at same time they signed, I signed for widnes with a few Leigh east and Leigh miners players.

Warrington seemed to be on mission back then, IIRC Wigan suffered through too much success and alot of lads decided to go elsewhere because they thought they'd stand a better chance of making it.. (and I believe Warrington were offering more money ).

Do you remember a prop who used to play for one of the Leigh teams (might have been miners) called Murphy? really good player who I think ended up on Saints books..

Sounds like the Murphy I'm thinking of - he was a bit of a 1 man team in his club side , I remember him basically lobbing our hooker at Ashton (Jimmy Hinnegan)into one of the posts with a handoff lol
