he played in Mike Bennets testimonial, so i thought 6 weeks ish later he must be getting near ready

League express had an interview with him, and he said his knee was still sore after a game.

I suspect myself that Saints will not want to throw him into first team action until he has had a good couple of months worth of reserve team RL. THis would enable him to build back strength, fitness and most of all confidence.

In many respects its encouraging that a player who isnt anywhere near full match fitness can still pick up a MOM award in i think only his 2nd competitive appearance of the season.

Yeah he played great against Wakefileld u20. Not spoke to him for a couple of weeks but i suspect he is still a month or so away from first team. He could hardly walk after the Bennett testimonial said he wasent injured it's just that his knee hurts like hell.

Apologies for gate crashing your board, Related to Shaun n know how hard he has worked to get back from this, even if hes not fully fit, it wont stop him giving 100%, wish him all the luck in the world!
