| We was unlucky not to win tonight... a fantastic performance against a team that have been scoring for fun these last few weeks ... keep the faith, I have a feeling its our turn to peak at the right time

| Quote 26boots="26boots"No he doesn't have any motivational skills. Tonight was a big improvement.... perhaps they know something we don't........... but it's too little too late for this seasaon I fear.
We haven'e beaten Leeds in a game that really matters for 4 years and they're a bit rusty now...... so for me the GF is a no-no.
But next season should be a sparkler.'"
It's a little too late for this season? Are you serious?

| Quote FearTheVee="FearTheVee"I actually though Long played well - ran the ball a bit and looked dangerous. Poor kick out on the ful and we struggled on a 5th or two, but in the circumstnaces I was pleased.
We'll be there or thereabouts and Longy will play a big part.'"
I agree with you that longys form will play huge bearing on how we finish this season.
Tonight though I thought he was shocking! His passes was all over the place and his kicking game was poor.
To be fair though he been out for while and playing with 1 eye so it's another run out before the playoffs.

I wouldn't say we was unlucky not to win because we was poor in attack and didn't really look like getting over Leeds line.
It was a big improvement on recent weeks though.

We was FANTASTIC tonight. I was so down all week thinking our season was over. Now i cant wait untill next week. It's amazing what 2 props can do to your team.
We was in that game right to the end at Headingley infront of a massive crowd.
The likes of Faasavalu will have improved there fitness. Welldone lads.

I would say fantastic all round. D yes, but not in attack. We still had no fluency and none of the solidity those same players had under Anderson and earlier in the year under Potter.

On the flip side. Leeds where shi*e in attack too! They had more ball than us with the penalties they recieved. For me we looked dangerous when we enterd there half. We made huge strides in there defence with our props.

I don't think we looked danerous with ball all night. Maybe the odd time but I think with ball in hand we was very poor again.
I thought the forwards played a lot better than over last few months which is prob down to having a good bench for 1st time in a while.
If last nights game is anything to go by I don't think we our that far off clicking.
If the attack clicks then we will defo be there or there abouts.

I would say very good rather than fantastic but otherwise I would agree with you. There's still something not right with our attack. I thought Longy did ok (with the exception of a couple of brain farts). His kick back up field in the second half when Leeds played that cynical kick out of play was a good sign: showed someone was thinking creatively for a change. We desperately need that creativity to return.
