Goulding ran riot in the hotel after that game, but he wasn't alone. And he certainly had a 'disagreement' with Hunte but it was nothing to do with colour of skin. I also remember walking past the main stand at Keighley in '97 about 20 mins before kick off, the door next to me flew open and two seconds later Bobbie was lay on his back with Pickavance laying into him. Those were the days!

Briers first really impressed me when he had a fantastic game at Central Park when we won there in '97 for the first time in a decade. He was an undoubted talent that in effect got us to Wembley after Bobbie's 8 match ban for a slightly high shot in the 4th round. But you cannot forget the influence Goulding had in the Saints team back then - he pretty much ran the show (just watch the final and the way he hauls Vila back to his feet to get back involved with play).
