try the sports bar in the corner of the Gate that has huge screens everywhere an dthe FA cup final will be on. The Gate is pretty much the busiest place in Newcastle CC nowadays anyway. The quayside will be dead, the bigg market is full of chavs (although scousers will probably feel at home amongst the tracksuited council estate dwellers who drink in the big market
)
