Jessie J, Adele, Emeli Sande, Status Quo, Rihanna, Lily Allen, One Direction, Justin Bieber and Beyonce are the main ones that spring to mind.

Of course it is, but not exactly a reason hate of the artists named is it?

I don't like pop music either particularly, and wouldn't spend my own money on buying it - but I can say for sure that I don't hate any of the people that make it. People that buy it on the other hand...

Couldn't care less for their chart success, I'm not an aspiring musician so why should I be jealous of their chart success?

Don't like pop music? Are you kidding? My CD collection is full to bursting with pop music, mainly 80s and 90s synth and electro with a dash of current synth, electro and indie pop.

The reason I don't like the artists I listed is simple; I find them annoying, I find their music annoying, I find their fans annoying and I find the whole media circus that surrounds them annoying (with the exception of status Quo obviously, their music is just crap!). It would be nice to browse social media one day and not have to see stupid words like 'Directioners' and 'Beliebers'.

I'm going to get 3rd degree burns for this; Pink Floyd, obviously a very talented bunch, and i don't hate them per se, but is it necessary for ALL of their songs to last for a fortnight?

Don't hate the Beatles but they are massively over rated. Biggest band yes but not even in the top ten of best bands.

Albums still do nothing for me but a tremendous live act.

ALL of those extremely interchangable commercial DJ's such as Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Avicii, Swedish House Mafia etc etc, you know the ones, the ones who chavs and dole-dossers claim are ''(insert DJ name) is sick, lad... pure choons''.

The songs are awful, they all have the same recycled beat but with slightly different lyrics. Music for mouth-breathers

Female American Country Pop artists have to be added to my hate list. Leann Rimes, Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill etc. etc. etc. A sickening mix of country music, cheesy chart pop and girl power. Yuck.

Don't mind the early psychedelic stuff but after those first two albums they morphed into a double denim rock disaster. They seem to have used the same song template for the last 40 odd years.

Little Mix - horrific, by-the-numbers girl group, debut song a cover, their OWN first song a cliched 'can't bring us down no matter what you do', followed up with cliched 'boy, show me what you do' drivel. Total pap
