| I've just caught up with the start of this and it's looking really good - Damien Lewis and Paul Giamatti face off as the head of a ginormous hedge fund, and a US Attorney with a distaste for wealthy criminals; it's loosely based on real events and having recently read around this subject (via the excellent Michael Lewis and Bethany McLean) it does seem to ring true in many ways; although I don't recall any mention of BDSM in the non-fiction accounts of the Wall Street movers and shakers.
Cracking stuff so far - well worth a watch.

| Been an interesting watch, but is it a bit far fetched?Axe seems to have the whole of NYC in his pay and always one step ahead of absolutely everybody. While the dumb attorney and his dumb team did not even consider poor old Donnie Caan might possibly be a triple agent.
All waiting for Axe to get his cumuppence, but think there is going to be a twist in the tale somehow.

| I guess that Axe is meant to be a composite of the *type* of people this show is dealing with - so it probably is far fetched that one of them would have that many connections and informants etc; taken as an example of his type though, amplified for dramatic effect, it's probably not that outrageous to assume that immense wealth brings with it an army of willing lackeys who are able to be bought.
I do take your point - but I'm still enjoying it; Paul Giamatti is superb, but perhaps the most far-fetched thing is how he ended up married to her?!

| I like Chuck the attorney, you can feel his anger coming out of the screen, his wife is a boring so and so though, how long before she gets between the sheets with Axe,I'll say two more episodes.
This series confirms the 'money talks bull walks' statement that comes out of the US and A.40 million bucks just for death bed Donnie to humiliate Chuck.
