| Having watched the CC debacle of Leeds v Cas on Saturday I felt obliged to at least try to watch a decent game by tuning in on Sunday to watch
Got to say Barrow we’re great and would have easily beaten Leeds if they had drawn them but Jarrod Sammut looked physically at his peak and what a fantastic array of ideas including varied kick offs. He looked more aware and physically tuned than most of the Leeds line up and remember he is 35 and Maltese where RL is not the national sport. Perhaps JJB and the players should watch the game and wonder if they could learn anything from Barrow or JS.
(note before I get accused of being a good time only supporter - I did not go to headlingley for 2 reasons firstly as I think all season ticket holders should get in free to CC games at home up until semi final and second like most of my friends who are also season ticket holders we were making our own statement of discontent)

Yeah I thought Sammut was excellent and really good to watch..... I had wondered what had happened to him!
I don't think anyone needs to justify why they go or don't go to Headingley.

| Sammut seems to be like a fine wine and getting better with age.
Would that London Broncos had kept hold of him.

| If you are seriously claiming Sammut is a quality player then you really do have bigger problems than I thought. His sell-by date expired years ago and he was never vintage then, great beard though. Barrow is his level now.

He was awful at Wakefield, but different players suit certain clubs. Can't imagine for one second he'd ever have fitted in at Leeds.

| For a man who’s career highlights include crapping in a team mates shoe, no. I don’t think he’d fit in.

I wouldn’t rule him out due to that, one of our former heroes used to pee on people in the shower when they’d been washed…

| I know of one Leeds legend who once left such a gift in Les Dyl’s sponge bag.
I used to play with a lad who described such a gift as a “Manchester Salmon”
