| Let's be realistic, he's not good enough (in the context of winning grand finals). He steadied the ship and put some decent new foundations in place, but his shelf-life is up. Last season should have been his last season because there was no progress on the previous season (in terms of actual performance, what you see on the field, patterns of play, ability to go toe-to-toe with the best) and now we're just wasting time, and possibly losing momentum as a club.
I appreciate people will say ''but who is available?'', but I'm sure if the club had thoroughly looked they'd have been able to find someone who could move us on.
This season is now over (You don't lose your first 3 games and have a realistic chance of making the grand final). Wake me up once Saints/Wigan have won the grand final (probably saints).

| Still baffled by the announcement in pre-season saying that he’ll return upstairs when the right candidate is available. Surely he’s almost bullet proof after GH said that? It’s not the job he was employed for but we’ve essentially said that there is nobody available that we want, so I’d be very surprised if he’s moved on any time soon.

| He's pretty much bulletproof mostly because he's held in high regard by everyone at the club.
The fact that we and he and everyone knows that when there's a properly-scouted replacement he will head upstairs means there isn't really any benefit from rushing this - but we do need to find that replacement and be as sure as we can be that he is the right man. There aren't a lot of coaches who fit that bill from the UK game unfortunately.
In terms of current performance, the team looks low on morale right now, which I guess happens when you lose a couple of games and an effectively brand-new spine hasn't clicked yet. I don't think we should read too much into it beyond that, and that we've played three of the likely top 5, just yet.

| Oh dear.
Not even the correct title for a coach out thread on here.
Unless there’s unrest between him the club snd the players getting rid after 3 games won’t help anyone.

This season is not over after 3 games at all, don’t be ridiculous.
Wigan won 1 out of their first 6 in 2019, they finished 2nd
Saints won 3 out of their first 6 in 2020 they won the comp

| If we'd just lost the games that wouldn't be as big of a concern but the manner of the defeats is a big concern. The league was a 2 horse race last year finishing where we did was an indictment of the standard. We are not going to surpass that this year of that I'm certain on this evidence and that should be the aim.

Weve lost one by 2points whilst down to 12 and 11 men, one where yes we got completely outplayed and one by one try.
So let’s say you get your wish Agar goes, who comes in? And what makes you think it would make us suddenly be on a par with saints?

| I'll admit after warrington the way they dug in in adversity was very pleasing.
Im saying yes if there's a viable alternative. How would I know who's available, Danny Ward? I'm not saying we would be immediately on a par with saints but with Agar we are not heading above where we've been that's for sure. I posted after 10 mins of last nights game predicting where it was going.

| And if I was coaching the team and at half time in week 2 could sense an abject performance from their body language etc I'd be firmly pointing the finger at myself. That shouldn't be happening.
