Through boredom, thought id make a team of players it never worked out for at our club.
Injuries, moving too soon, or just being rubbish (Achurch) all played a factor. I've tried to pick players with genuinely high expectations too....

Ash Gibson springs to mind. He had all the skill in the world, scored 20 points on debut and would have been a good centre for years in the Leeds team. A couple of bad leg injuries later and he lost all his speed and was never the same player again.

He developed into an outstanding player at Leeds. |

Brooke Cowden definitely.
On Innes I was struggling a bit for centres - he was a lovely player to watch. I always thought Iro was much better at Wigan than at Leeds where he seems not that bothered.

Could put Adrian Vowles in there. He wasn't bad, just fizzled out and left quite quickly. Or Nathan McAvoy just for a laugh although his was a decidedly odd brief encounter. |
