| How do you explain that win today v Huddersfield Giants? Abysmal for 65, superb for 15. Possibly one of the best comebacks in super league history.
Huge game this weekend coming v st Helens, I’d like to think that our game was a better test for the restart.
Dependent on which way it goes, the first 65 you’d be making a number of changes like Briscoe for Briscoe, Smith to start and prior to bench. Mclelland in for Lui.
However at the end of the game, what do we do? We polished the biggest turd ever.

| I'd bring in Holroyd in for donaldson, and I agree on McLelland getting a shot, thought Lui looked uninterested today and was totally out of it. We need to meet Saints up front and then allow our backs to move the ball, they will try to punish us with the 6 again rule so need to clean up the ruck massively

| Changing your halves after 1 game and after a 4 month break is more likely to do more harm than good

You are only as good as your last game. We were woeful, comeback or not, and one of those main influencers in that was the stand off. He was terrible.
There is a big difference in what you say in the middle of a normal season, and what we have now. It is not like one off game in the middle of good ones. He is clearly overweight and unfit, and you don’t fix that in just one week. He should be nowhere near the side.

| I’d have Leeming starting. I’d also prefer a Myler / Gale HB combo. Though he’s standing in admirably at FB, Myler’s getting physically battered a lot. When’s Walker back?

| Personally, I would like Lui rested for a few weeks and forced to get fit first albeit, I doubt it will happen.
Holroyd for Donaldson. Hurrell needs to lose some weight too, very unfit.
I probably wouldn't go with Myler at full back again either. Possibly bring Briscoe back into the back 3 or alternatively, give McLelland a shot at full back with Myler in the halves. I suspect in the backs we will likely go same again unless Tom Briscoe comes in for Luke.

| Id give Lui another shot. I thinks Saints is too big a game for Mclelland to get thrown into. Im sure Lui will improve on yesterday. He has started the season well before lockdown. Let’s not over react

| Will Hurrell be fit for next Sunday?
He seemed to be limping in the second half.
The only change I would make is Holroyd/Walters for Donaldson.
Maybe play McLelland in the Cup game.

| Really looking forward to the game - should be a good contest.
No idea how you won that game last night (that Hudds winger should be shot for the tackle in the air, hat-trick or no hat-trick) but if you turn up and move the ball like the last 20 it should be a heck of a game!

Let’s hope it’s a good one mate. All the best

| Saints are the best team in Super League by a distance at the moment. We will have to be good to challenge them.

not sure I can agree with this statement. Fisrt game back post lockdown they beat a poor side convincingly but pre lockdown they were not looking like a cohesive unit at all

Indeed -we were very patchy pre-lockdown for sure. Few injuries in the backs didn't help but I think the break has done us more good than any other team as we put everything into the WCC and looked goosed the next couple of weeks.

| We need to be patient. Not so long ago we were dead donkeys desperately hoping to avoid the canning factory. We're not a thoroughbred racehorse yet. Still a few real quality players short and still need some of the youth talent to develop.
Super League ain't what it used to be but to win trophies I still think Leeds need to be near optimum.
Another 2-3 years, IF we make the right signings and IF the young lads achieve some potential, we'll be about right again. It's amazing we're looking as competitive as we are now after the shocking hole we got ourselves in.
