Get Sutcliffe and Ferres fully out of the squad. Massive improvement all round.

I think Myler will be dropped. Sutcliffe will get in for his goal kicking - and that alone.

Ferres wont be dropped

How Ferres and Sutcliffe get games week in week out is beyond even the late great Stephen Hawking's great mind.

Massive game this. Catalan v low on confidence. If we start well we could go on to win comfortably but its a big if.

Doesn't help right now but looks like Ferres is gone for 2020. With Sutcliffe, for me it's stick him in the back row and compete for a place with Merrin, Ward, Mellor, Trout, Walters, Smith? etc.
Actually with regard to Smith, he seems to have been dropped recently, will be interested to see where he is next year too. Can't make my mind up about him; he has quality but looks like he needs time to mature.
I have literally no clue which way this game will go. I just know we need to be treating the next few games like a mini tournament and making every effort to get points on the board early.

What's worse is that on current form Hawking would be the best of the three in respect of goal line D.

And Attacking mobility. And it has to be said, kicking too.

I would be quite happy to see Lui in the halves if it means one of Sutcliffe or Myler is dropped.
As for Ferres he too should be moved out on DR with immediate effect.
He offers absolutely nothing just like our two half backs.
Singleton too should be on borrowed time and is perhaps fortunate we have little competition for props.

Anyone know if Ablett or Ward might be back? Could really do with Ward.

It’ll take ward a bit no doubt to get up to speed after his lay off so I’d not expect him to have a great impact immediately. Better than ferres granted.

Agree ward will need time but 20-30 minutes from ward will start to help make us a little better.

It's hard to believe we might throwing in a hooker and a stand off with 10 games left and needing them to hit the ground running to keep us up.
