Sad time for the club. Spoke so well about old players. He had a fantastic memory for a man of his age.

Harry will be a very sad loss to the Leeds Rhinos club and also to the RL game
It has been lovely to read all of the comments and condolences from both our current players and members of staff and also from former players who had so much love and respect for him
He will also be very sadly missed by the supporters as the older generation of fans had a great affinity with him too

Alongside Billy Watts this club has lost two absolute legends these last few months. The sadness of his passing can be met with a happiness that he led such a memorable life and career that impacted on so many.

Harry was a real gentleman with a wealth of rugby league stories that could enthrall you for hours. His tales were from his own personal experiences gained from his years at Hunslet, his first love, then Leeds with schools, international colts and his French RL connection thrown in. His enthusiastic love of the game and good humour will be much missed and his like may never be seen again.
