I'd be tempted to leave him out now for the year (barring an injury crisis in the pack) with only 7/8 games left. Doesn't seem much point taking any chances with him. Get a big pre-season into him and have him ready to rip in for 2017.

100% agree with this it may not be what Stevie wants but i think a clean slate & full pre-season will do him & us a world of good. |

| If he's not able to play by the 3rd game vs London then shouldn't play in the remaining ones as 3 of them are very tough games to bring a player back for after a year out.
Maybe send him to play for Fev in Round 6 when they host HKR.....purely for match fitness purposes  |

I sense a wetherby whaler festive challenge, new shirt being worn, welcome stevie back marketing opportunity in the offing.
I am sure they will make the right call. If he is deemed good to go this year, off the bench v batley may be an option. Without reserve team there is no way to phase in a return more carefully than full throttle.
His long term welfare is the key and I'm sure that will be paramount in the thinking.
