| Hardaker Transfer Listed By Rhinos
Zak Hardaker, the Leeds Rhinos and England full back and 2015 Man of Steel, has been transfer listed by the Rhinos with a £300,000 valuation.
Hardaker signed for the Rhinos in 2011 from Featherstone Rovers and has gone onto make 154 appearances, scoring 67 tries and 45 goals. He played in all three Tests for England in their series win over World Champions, New Zealand last year.
Gary Hetherington, the Rhinos Chief Executive, said, "We have agreed with Zak that the opportunity to continue his career at another club is in both parties best interests.
"Zak has established his credentials as a World Class player and at the age of 24 he has so much to look forward to. He has given great service to the Rhinos as a Full Back, Winger and Centre and he will remain part of our squad until a transfer is agreed. I have no doubt he will continue to give his best as he always does.”
Zak Hardaker commented, "I explained my desire to leave and test myself in the NRL to Gary several weeks ago and I am pleased the club is prepared to release me. I have had five great years here and have had so many wonderful times. I will continue to help the team whilst I am here but I am also excited with what the future may hold for me.”
Brian McDermott, Rhinos Head Coach said, "Zak is a special talent and a fierce competitor who will do well wherever he plays. We won't be quite the same without him, but we've come to this decision and he will leave with our best wishes.”

| Really gutted, he is a quality player and imo has been misused by leeds
3 GFs and 2 CCs I guess he is looking for a new challenge
Hopefully if a new coach gets sorted we can flip him, maybe by pointing to the likes of Joe Burgess who has a similar number of England caps but isnt been give a chance in a struggling roosters team
The other hope might be that people only look at this years form and refuse to pay the transfer
Wonder if we will sign a fullback? I wouldnt mind giving it to Sutcliffe for a season for him to develop and then signing a 6/7 with the spare cap
fwiw I think given time to settle he will go pretty well as he returns the ball well and might suit that style of play more
he will also probably benefit from being away from some of his mates for a while so he can concentrate on his rugby

| £300,000 for a serial miscreant?
Getting rid of him immediately and for nothing ought to be a priority.
Excellent move from the club, even if it has taken them three years too long to get rid.
The club need to cleanse themselves of the toxic influence of this idiot and move on.
The first crucial and absolutely necessary step in turning things around.

| Before the idiots start posting usual gash, there is a reason for why Leeds have agreed, why Zak has asked to leave, and why it is NRL. So before trolls start posting rubbish, think before you post.

| Hopefully, the Serial Miscreant has already worn a Leeds shirt for the last time.

| If we don't sign a full back replacement then I'd like to see Watkins move to full back in the hope he becomes more effective because he is offering nothing at centre at the moment.

| Disappointed but not surprised. Looks like we need a whole new spine for next year. Not sure Golding's ready for the number 1 shirt yet personally, and putting Sutcliffe there full time would be a big gamble. Who's available?

| Think we've had all we're going to get from him. If we can get some decent money for him, an experienced (I.e. possibly ageing so not too expensive but good for a couple of years) FB to give us some leadership and use the money for a decent half.
Positive move I think overall - if we asked nicely do you think he'd take Watkins with him?

| On this season's performances he won't be missed.....explains why he was dumped to to the wing in favour of Golding at FB for those couple of matches.
Hardly news to shock the RL world.
Watkins to FB for me (if he stays of course) and Moon to SO....so two new centres for me please Keinhorst is a better second rower (guess Handley and Sutcliffe could be tried as "new" centres)...
So the best SL back 3 for returning the ball and getting the forwards on the front foot is now history.
Wonder what we can look forward to seeing in the championship

Sutcliffe at fullback would be a positive move for me, it did wonders for micheal morgan and we could play him in a similar role to 6 but with more time on the ball and less pressure for a year or 2
This would leave more money for a new 6/7 and hooker
Watkins at fullback is an option although I wonder if he prefers playing centre?

| I for one will not shed any tears as I consider him a very overrated player. I hope we can arrange some sort of exchange deal for a real class player in return but the price we have put on him is very optimistic.
