| Simple question. Mags can't do it on his own. I reckon Lilley has got the lot. He needs a good run though.

| Mags can't do it anyway, Lilley is the better partner though.

| Harsh. Mags was the best player in SL in the last couple of months in 2015. How much influence Sinny had on that will be revealed in the coming weeks i guess

| Hopefully we won't be "doing a Warrington" this season in trying to establish our best HB combo all season. Lilley does already look the best HB in many ways (not least for his goalkicking). If McGuire is out injured then he certainly deserves his chance ... Burrow for me is still best off the bench. Hopefully Faloon will be back next week.
Maybe Sutcliffe will indeed end up at LF

Sutty is worth a shot at LF. Especially whilst Ward is out. I think Mac prefers a no nonsense tackling machine there though. So expect Delaney or Abbo?

| Lilley looked the best of the four Leeds halfbacks on display. That's only one game though.

| I agree that Lilly was miles better today, but for me Sutcliffe has to be our starting half and is clearly just struggling a little for fitness, youve got to remember how good he can be, and the fact that JP and Maggsy have both tipped him as a future england player and even possible captain.
Lilly should either be sent on month by month loans at other SL clubs or- if he keeps playing this well- be given a regular bench spot possibly over Burrow or Falloon
Also its an absolute waste playing Sutcliffe at LF all his creative energy will be sapped by the extra tackling

| Whilst Sutcliffe was poor tonight we have to persevere with him and have Lilley as his half back partner in the absence of McGuire.
Not sure why people are saying Burrow or Falloon at hooker.
Burrow on the bench with Falloon at 9.
I would also have had Achurch in the 17 tonight against a big Wire pack.
For me the jury's still out with Sutcliffe but I will be delighted to be proved wrong.
Singleton and Galloway played well tonight and Ferres did his bit .
Watkins did very little following on from his England games.
Not too down but we need a goalkicker .

| Lilley is not just a one game wonder. At the end of last season and in the pre season games this year he has shown he has the ability to start in the first team now. Sutclife had a purple spell last year without ever showing the ability or appetite to control a game or indeed that stand off is his best position. IMO Lilley looks a classier half back and when he came on tonight he did more than anyone, except perhaps Moon, to open up the Warrington defence.

| To be fair to Sutcliffe, he's just coming back from a knee reconstruction, and was playing on one leg for most of the game, so it's unfair to judge him too much based on that game. Lilley does look like a natural though.

Yes patience is needed after such a serious injury......however some people on here have zero patience.

| Need to somehow get Ashton Golding into the 17 as well, he is too good to be not playing.

| TBF Sutty looked like a picked up a stinger around the same time as Magsy, but obviously we couldn't take him off because we'd have been left with no hooker.
Lilley did look ready for SL and if Magsy's out he should play.
Most important right now is getting Falloon fit to play against Widnes. Do that and we have Burrow to come off the bench and support the halfbacks.
If Sutty is still not 100% (and he didn't look it last night) then Lilley should be playing alongside Magsy.

No he hasn't. When has he ever proved it? He is a world class player who can come up with a game breaking skill. He is not a player who can dictate the game play and move his team around. Never has been. Hence why Lilley is the better partner, who can move the team around, kick, and allow his partner to come up with the skill play.
