Just heard a Rumour that Mr. Tomkins' Career might be over through injury. Thoughts if true?

He was talking at the weekend about doing the rehab and being ready to go at the end of April, so I'd be surprised and saddened if it does turn out to be true.

Yeah I agree. Even though I'm not his biggest fan, I wouldn't want his career to end in this way. I hope it's not true.

I'm glad to hear this isn't true. Regardless of what you might think of the players, no one deserves to have their career cut short through injury.

Why are you saying sorry? This isn't the Wigan board, no one wants anyone's career to be ended early.

Cannot see it being true I'm sure he will be back this year. If it was true would be a sad loss. If you like him as a person or not you cannot deny he's a great player

i really hope he makes a full recovery and gets back to something like his form of his first stint at Wigan. It only enhances SL and the England set up if he does.

He was talking positively about his rehab moving on to the next stage so unless he's broken down again Id say this was untrue. Can see him being a shadow of his former self though. If he cant trust his knees his stepping game will be much reduced.
