| Heard he faces a late fitness test for Friday due to small ACL tear. Although he could potentially play Fri and week after should we be lucky enough to get to OT, wider ramifacations of this are he will likely miss Englands series V Kiwis.
This would likely mean decision is made for McNamara and Tomkins will play at 1.
Gutted for him if this is the case, the next game and one after hopefully are more important IMO so fingers crossed he can get through them Ok.

| zak will be ok for the remainder of the sl season....hopefully
but this could save mcbanana a lot of heartache as there simply has to be a place for sam in the england side and it was looking difficult for him to find him a starting spot due to his poor form and injuries in nz

| A partial tear to the ACL often causes some instability and there is a risk of it developing into full rupture needing a knee reconstruction op.

| It was that sh|thouse tackle from Brough that he seems to have somehow got away with.

Is this the tackle where according to the Gaints board Zak faked injury and took a dive to get a pen?

You mean the tackle where Brough wraps both legs around Hardakers? You know, the tackle that causes the injury?
Unless you think a shoulder to the upper body can cause a knee injury more than a scissors tackle.
Take your Huddersfield, I ❤️ Danny blinkers off and actually look at the tackle. It's very easy to see how and why Hardaker sustained an injury.

Yep that's the one. Fortunately most Huddersfield fans seem to have taken the result with the same grace and humility as the Huddersfield chairman.
Unfortunately a few have decided to take it with the same grace as the grumpy idiot they have as head coach.

You can see his right leg already in front of Hardakers and his left leg coming around.
It was a sh|thouse tackle that if not done purposefully to injure was, at the very least, reckless.

100% agree. It gets worse too and keeps getting worse until Brough stops twisting on the ground.

Nothing foul about that tackle, only tackle not allowed with the legs is a trip. And the ref was only 3 metres away and he didn`t give a penalty for that.

| I said it at the time that it was a dangerous technique. Brough clamps Zaks legs and bends him the wrong way. I can't believe (actually I can) nobody at the RFL had a look at it.

That's simply wrong. Rules pretty clearly put the duty on the tackler to make sure its a safe technique...
Foul “throws” 1. (a) A tackler must not make use of any special “holds” or “throws” which are likely to cause injury or use his knees in the tackle. It is permissible for a tackler to bring a player in possession of the ball to the ground by pulling him over the outstretched leg provided he is holding the player with both arms before there is any contact with
the leg.
