| I know he has been mentioned elsewhere but i just feel last nights performance was a front runner for greatest of all time in display of blatant dislike towards one team, and he merits his own thread.
Off the top of my head during the game - The Moon try, Clarke see's a knock on that everyone else misses ( as there clearly wasn't one) but is convinced the ball brushes McKmeekan on the way down therefore has to be chalked off.
McKmeekan later clearly drops the ball in the tackle - Clarke says- 'that HAS to be a strip, there are hands all over the ball!'
Then the 'dubious' Dorn try for obstruction, Clarke thought there was no issue at all T-R-Y.Naturally
Cas get the late drop goal - Hemmings - 'That could end things...' Clarke - 'What? Leeds' season?!!' (i'm shocked we never heard his little chuckle)
After the game Clarke sits proud as punch with Hemmings as he goes on to say he predicted this from just before the CC final, we were poor in the final, Hull KR were pants and a better team would have beaten us, followed by his BOLD prediction of us not winning another game now.
I really hope we ram his words back up his aris!

| He really could not hide his smugness.....as you say I hope the team takes it as a real incentive to win the remanining 3 games.....but I do fear he is right.
I'm not religious but I will be praying that, if not Leeds, Huddersfield wipe the huge smile off his face. Even better Saints wallop his team tonight.

| He thinks he works for WiganTV. He has these digs at Wire all the time too. I commented on him last season, he was given a slot before games where he'd show good and bad bits of a team's play and he'd always show a Wigan try against the team in question or Wigan defence keeping out the team in question to highlight a team's negatives and he'd use about thirty superlatives about Wigan during the clip. Or if he was showing a postitive about a team he'd show a wonder try against Wigan followed by "and you have to be that good to score a try against Wigan". and Wigan wouldn't even be playing that night.

| The man is a clown. For a broadcaster he needs to be a little less obvious in his love for all things Wigan. All the other sky team generally do a good job of hiding their club loyalties

Exactly, Carney is a former Wigan man but does a fine job of being neutral. Barrie McDermott does talk up Leeds a bit understandably especially the kids but he speaks well of other teams and their youngsters too.

| I think Clarke by and large is a good anaylist of the game, last night his comments fell well short of the professional standards required for a match commentator.
His posturing on the moon try was not his finest moment.
But counter balanced against that was his praise for us earlier on in the season ,before we hit this dreadful run of injuries.
Sometimes the truth hurts, his comment regarding us not winning again this season seems more than likely.
Although we may surprise a few people.

| I found it annoying and blatant too, but I'm probably in the minority that finds his input to be generally quite interesting.
Most frustrating was the Leeds performance, Clarke's one-eyed ravings just rubbed the salt in. If they'd turned up, won the game and not looked spent (esp. in the last 20), it would have been entertaining for Clarke to eat his words. Can't have it both ways.

Tbf his claim that Leeds won't win another game this year is one that is very likely so that doesn't bother me.....saying it whilst looking straight down the camera with a smile as wide as the Humber Bridge makes him a massive "insert swear word of choice here".
