Great news imo. He is still very young for a prop,21 isn't he? Or there abouts.

We all know props need more time to develop and he isn't letting anyone down atm so hopefully he will keep improving as he ages.

I like Singo, like him a lot. I love his commitment and agresssive attitude going forward. I've always been a bit worried about his body shape as a prop though. He seems a bit slim in the legs, and I don't know if this is something the conditioners or physically maturing will solve. He seems to get picked up and thrown backwards in the tackle at times. Whether work on his technique and approach can solve this I don't know, but his big long legs seem to work against him at times. Would anyone consider him to be a better bet as a wider running second rower ?

I'd like to see them try get him playing the ball quicker or looking for an offload Tbh rather than making big metres. With a Galloway , Garbut and even Mullaly seemingly good at making the hard yards I don't think that's a huge priority atm for him.

His improvement has shown this year, his best years are ahead of him. good new all round.

A friend of mine played with Singleton in the academy and said whilst he wasn't the most talented, he worked harder than anyone. I think he'll go from strength to strength and become a top quality prop.

Very Gary like to follow up the disappointing news on Ainton this week with something positive before the weekend. There seems to be a higher number of players on long term contracts than we have seen for a few years.

I think. mags will get a 3 year deal

He only signed a new four year deal at the end of last season, so this deal is a pay rise and an extra year for him. Good news for us though.
