| I will be attending Headingley ground on Sunday for the Championship Grand final, but circumstances prevent me from going on the coach ,so I shall have to drive myself there, I was wondering if one of you kind Loiners could point me in the direction of where I might be able to park my Car, I'm not necessarily looking to park for free just somewhere safe and nearby will do. thanking you in anticipation.  |

You should be able to park safely & for no cost in the streets round the Stanmores or those near the allotments shown on the attached map.

It's a 10 minute walk over the railway bridge to the ground. |

Its worth mentioning that the plan of Headingley was done five years ago and parking has changed since then particularly in the streets to the north of the ground opposite the cricket ground - put simply there have been cars and motorists who have driven into those streets and never been seen again - its mainly permit only and most streets are barricaded with concrete like a war zone now, best to be avoided and try the Stanhopes area as suggested above. |

I often park at the junction of Canterbury Drive and Headingley Mount, because there's a fantastic concrete barricade and no one seems to park there (was double yellows before the barricade was put in place).
There's no resident permit areas around there that I can think of.
