For me it has to be JP, not his best year but still doing the biz.

He should get it but i have a feeling it may go to Clark.

Has there actually been a standout performer this season ? Peacock and Hill at Wire probably the best bets .

Although given the prevailing love of all things Cas , don't discount Clark .

To be honest, it would be hard to argue any of those three. They should certainly be the shortlist.

Yep, hence why the Monotoned Mutineer has never won it. Had the votes gone to those in the media like Sadler, he'd have won it half a dozen times by now along with Danny Bruff.

I think it always seems different when front rowers are the best players rather than flashy halves or outside backs who may score or set up tries for fun. I think it's more obvious to stand out when you do that rather than just pile forward and tackle like your life depends on it in the front row.

Hill and Peacock have been great. I watch Hill most weeks and I have to say I think he's amazing, I will be bias with that opinion as he's one of my team's players. But he stands up at the level with any forward in the NRL for me. Peacock too, though. He's as good now as he was five years ago and more. He's not as fast, but that's a given, but still stands ahead of far younger props at any other clubs.

I think Clark has a shout but I think he's nailed on for Young Player.. He's been great. But so has Millington, Shenton and a few others at Cas...and a mention to Kevein Brown who has been very good this season.

Hill or Peacock though and either way you'd say they would deserve it.

Clark - He hasn't done enough these last couple of weeks in my opinion. He has been getting shut down in the big games, he needs a big game at the weekend vs Saints to get back contention.

Hill - JP made him his b!tch in the CC semi final, good player but still not the JP standard, like Clark, he needs some big games in the early playoff rounds to be front runner.

JP - Keeps going and keeps been the dominant forward week in week out. Even when Leeds' pack gets battered JP still stands out as one of the toughest on the pitch. Consistent.

JP is an absolute legend for us, and is the one true stand out of our pack.
I don't think he is anything close to last year, but still believe he epitomises everything a MOS is. Can't understand the doubts on Hill, because if anything over the whole season, he has probably been better than Peacock. What a future that lad has.

However, for me Peacock should be the one his fellow players edge for, as they will understand more than us, just what he gives this Leeds team, and amazed at how he keeps doing it, and his age.

As if I needed more proof,now I know your deluded.When the press had the vote he never got anywhere near, in fact they were falling over to give it to super sub Roby rather than Gareth Ellis in past years.
Again it should be Peacock but I can see super sub Clark piping him.
