| Great respect for Danny , and have stuck up for him in the past but what he Ward and Briscoe are offering at the moment is virtually nothing , Ward is not big enough to play in yhe forwards or fast or skillful enough for the backs ,and Briscoe just looks a waste of money that would be better spent elsewhere. We have two class centres and a class winger but never create anything for them . Peacock has to do nearly all the taking of the ball up and god knows how many tackles he made tonight . The coach can only live for so long on past glories and at times of late has been completley out coached . We all know that the big games are still to come , we all know we have big players to come back but for weeks now we have been somewhere between ordinary and terrible. Maybe everything will turn ouy ok , no doubting with Hardaker , Sinfield and Burrow playing things change dramatically , but we have no moves or are we saving them all up for the big matches . Not trying to over react just pointing out things thay are there for all to see

| Regarding Briscoe, you can trace his poor form back to Castleford away. A few days afterwards BJB's departure was confirmed......start of the year it had a sense of players trying to outdo each other and really fighting for their place, he's gotten comfortable and needs a kick up the backside.

| I would put BJB on the wing once Hardaker gets back in at FB.

| I don't think Sutcliffe is as good as the hype that surrounds him. He takes the wrong option has a poor kicking game, struggles to kick at goal which cost us today and as for the kick off after they scored he might as well have said there you go Wakey here's the game"...............I'll kick it long so you can play a very slow set of six tackles and claim the two points

Loan him back to Hull when Hardaker returns that should give him a reality check. Stealing a living at the moment.

If anyone is living on past glories its Danny Mcguire. His pace disappeared 3 years ago and since then he was simply an average half back, now he is sliding further down the scale and isn't fit enough to play for a top 4 team. Championship class at the best now. Is sentimentality from the coach going to ruin the memories of 2004 et. al.?

I find your post quite ironic! You are bitching at the coach for and I quote "living on past glories" but then you contradict yourslef by saying we will be a better team when our other 'past glory men' come back from injury
Whilst I agree someone needs to light a firework up the teams jacksy to get them going again, I don't agree with knee jerk reactions and team over haul enmass - Salford being a perfect example of how money doesn't buy success!
I view these last few games as 'our turn' for the customary season rut that all teams come up against, whether it's at the start, middle or end of the season. It was going to happen eventually! We was only 6 rounds into the season and unbeaten and I remember people getting away themselves then in the opposite direction of "can we go all season undefeated?"
I bet there are a few other teams in Super League that wouldn't mind a poor squad like we have got and still sit in second place on the league ladder

| Whilst the "League Table" is there for all to see should we ignore the blatant failings and poor performances over the last 6 weeks?
Does it being a "Blip" make it acceptable and wrong to voice concerns or opinions where improvements are needed?
For me it's all about here and now which at the moment is poor ,unstructured ,lacking the ability to adapt to the in game situation and more concerning out enthused by everyone we have faced.
I've no doubts at all we have the quality to return and make us challengers but that's not a given either especially if they return to a team "shot" low on confidence and bereft of ideas.
We can and should be playing better with the 17 on duty.

Well said. We were always going to have a blip but there has to be concern about structures and how we adapt in games. For me it illustrate the attacking weakness we've had under McDermott.
