| Typically biased and bordering on controversial match report, had it been one of us who hard worded things as you have then we would have been banned. Disgraceful comments by someone obviously abusing his position.

| The report was just calling it as it was.Nothing controversial at all.You need to wind your neck in.Sometimes you need to leave the rarified/rabid air of the wigan forum and face the truth, there's a dirty side to Wigan.

On the Wigan forum perhaps, but not on here. We allow freedom of speech within the AUP.
Fancy venturing onto a Leeds forum to read a Leeds match report and thinking it was bias!

Be fair! It isn't even close to balanced. Hall 'expertly' picks the ball up but Leeds 'let' Green throw a dummy. Moon has a 'moment of brilliance' but Gelling 'stumbles over the line' (btw, had that been Hall, the report would have been all about 'great handling and how good he was in the air). The video referee 'had given the game to the Warriors' when all they did, in fact, was get the decision right! Micky Mac 'almost decapitated' JP (it was a run of the mill high shot and JP didn't even go to ground!) and apparently Dudson's 'only intent was to cause injury' (really? I mean...really?). That's before we get on to the use of terminology like 'thuggery' etc.
This is supposed to be a match report (albeit it on a Leeds forum) not the rantings of some sulky juvenile. Fair enough if yourself and others are happy for this to be the face of the Leeds forum. I know the vast majority of Leeds fans have far more class than this purile garbage.

| So Wigan have finally beaten a big team and they suddenly think they're relevant again.

But you are allowed to show bias in your reply? Hypocrisy duly noted.
Quote: Phuzzy "and apparently Dudson's 'only intent was to cause injury' (really? I mean...really?). '"
He thought McGuire was choking and he was kindly using the Heimlich manoeuvre? Tell us, what do you think his intention was in executing the perfect cowardly shoulder charge to the back of an unsuspecting opponent?
Quote: Phuzzy "That's before we get on to the use of terminology like 'thuggery' etc.'"
If it looks like a McIlorum, punches like a McIlorum and sounds like a McIlorum, it's probably a thug.

The sulky juvenile walked out on you to play in the NRL, get over it and move on. And FYI the word is "puerile".
Out of interest, are all Wiganers this insecure or is it just the ones who sound off on this forum?

| I'm glad it biased and bitter.
It shows Wigan battered Leeds physically and mentally.
Keep it up lads.

| The game was worth 2 league points. Some reality checks needed.

Given that circumstances leading up to Mc Ilorum's tackle to describe it as a run of the mill high shot you are viewing the incident from your Wigan bias and could open you up to the same criticisim that you have targeted at the author of the article! Mc Ilorum had to lift himself off the ground to make the high shot therefore it is a pre meditated action. Also, why is it a pre requisite that a player hits the ground before it is deemed a dangerous tackle?
Do you regard the following as biaised?
"Wigan replacement Dom Crosby was also placed on report for an ugly tackle " Sky Sports
As for "The face" of our board, I would point out that your board has garnered a reputation as one which does not welcome dialogue and constructive criticism from opposition fans and is quick to lock topics or ban posters should they be deemed as offending the Wigan faithful.
Finaly on class, I would ask you to answer the following question. Does coming on to a opposition board insulting their moderators and fans exhibit any on your behalf?

| Disciplinary - No charges from the game.
Excellent timing with that droning match report.

Crosby has been cautioned for the 'tackle' on Hall.

| This is a Rhinos forum right? Surely in a parallel universe there is a report on a Wigan forum that eulogises about the free flowing rugby Wigan brought to the Etihad.
It would be only right if there was.
I thought the report was bang on. But them I'm a local lad on a local forum.

One of the reasons I read your forum and occasionally post on it is that many of your fans seem to be quite even-handed and extremely knowledgable about the game. So I suppose when something is blatantly biased it gets the odd comment.
Saturday's game was a great game of rugby that could have gone either way. It was by far the most intense game over the week end and I suppose the other teams now know what standards they need to attain if they are to have any chance of success in October.
The smart money must be on Wigan v Leeds in Challenge Cup and Super League GF. mind you lots can happen between now and then.
My hope is that Leeds continue to run JP into the ground in what are essentially meaningless games. Surely you could do with spelling him?

| Oh the irony of some Pie eaters moaning on a Rhinos forum about a Rhinos match report written by a Rhinos fan?
As for references to the RFL's disciplinary panels reactions to the match we've seen many "conspiracy theories" from across the SL over the years about their Leeds bias.
I'll also remind our visitors of the reactions from their own lot when McGuire did his knee ,Ali pushed the posts when Richards missed the penalty and anytime Bailey goes near a Pie player!!
I hope this intensity carries over when ever we meet then we can see how restrained they are when their players get plenty back.

Well there is the equivalent report from a Wigan perspective.
