I think we just seem more cramped for space over on that left side when attacking, he could've had 2 against London in Bailey's testimonial but Moon and Ablett finished them off with all 3 guys basically bunched up together over there. Even last night he's had to really squeeze into the corner to get his two scores. Moon in one aspect does get Hall the ball, but not with as much space to work with and often see's Hall have to pop back inside or risk the touch line.'"
Moon carries the ball in one hand and drifts, Watkins carries the ball in two hands and runs straight. The offload for Briscoe's try was out of two hands into Briscoe's chest, for Hall's two tries the ball came out of the back of Moon's hand, the second one was straight into his face. It came off for Moon last night, but you don't teach kids to carry the ball in two hands and run straight for nothing. Hall sent Moon clear with a very nice piece of centre play of his own.
I think Moon has it all, but the flick out of the back of the hand should be a technique used sparingly. Having said that I don't want to criticise, I thought Moon did play really well last night, and he did release Hall with some good passes on several occasions. They worked really well together.
Watkins hands are very, very good. He is a joy to watch. I don't really understand why the England RU setup are looking to RL props to fill their centre positions.
