Good balanced article, I am not expecting Salford to be in the top eight this year for several reasons.

Squad - Individuals, not a team at present, will take them first quarter of the season to start to gel and depends how many games they win in that developing period, whether they stand a chance of top eight.

Squad - strength in depth? Is that there if 2/3 of the marquee signings are injured, suspended.

Desire- Is that there from a team that has been brought together for monetary reasons rather than youth development and natural growth?

Rest of SL - Rest of SL will want to beat this 'new' money team to prove their own worth.

Thin line between getting it right and wrong, but not sure they'll get it right this year, maybe next if the same team is kept together and grows together. Anyway we'll see soon enough.

I hope salford have a good season ,anything to shake up the status quo amongst the top clubs.
Also the good doctor is grabbing plenty of headlines in the press which gives the game much needed publicity ,
Certainly there is plenty of interest In watching salford ,will morley last the season also hock, will he behave and finally will chase produce the goods.
I have not been to the new salford ground but went to the willows countless times,so I will attend our match over there.
So the good doctors efforts will be rewarded with my cash,I would not have gone over there without salfords star signing additions.

I'm looking forward to hopefully watching Norris Cole wallop his head on the overhanging ladders at the back of the stand again.

I can't stand Noble. I know what he really thinks of Leeds. I hope they get battered week in week out whilst Noble is there. I think they will have a real tough year.

I've not warmed to the new owner but appreciate the enthusiasm.
