Whilst he doesn't have a clue (which we've all known for some time), Phil Bentham clearly needs to go to specsavers. And clearly the new rules permit a player to punch another in front of the ref

| Every thing that has been good about the wire has involved the man who should have been sent off, if Bailey had thrown that punch he would be sat in the dressing room now

| Yep, but that aside the Wire have taken us apart. Hopefully our second chance will be well taken and we will move on to another appearance at OT.

| Considering Briers has played a part in 3 of wires tries.....it makes you think what the actual result would have been if justice was served!
But hey ho, when have we ever wanted the trophy from pole position?

Meh! I don't get the impression Leeds were fully up for this. (Iknow I wasn't). I think we have chanced our arm for 40 mins or so but once it started to slide against us we were thinking another game might do us good. I'm sure this will be debated all week. Saints could prove to be tough opposition but get through that and I think we will see a different Leeds in 2 weeks.

| I'm not one to usually come on here complaining about referees, but the fact Briers wasn't even Sin Binned, let alone Sent Off for a punch to the head which was completely unwarranted, not even in the middle of a fight, is a horrendous refereeing decision by a referee with no balls at all.
There's no way they'd have scored as many points with him off the pitch and only 12 men. That said, we weren't up for it as much as they were. They had the rub of the ref, no doubt. But I'm not too concerned, we've won the Final playing 3 games for the last 2 years, we can do it again.

| Wire were the better side and deserved their win. Also the refereeing was atrocious, but the advantage you get from home ties in the play-offs is the possibility of having a weak ref who'll give every decision the crowd asks for. That's Wire's bonus for finishing above us in the table.
Positives:
1) We won't have to play at 3pm again
2) James Child won't referee again this season.

| As a neutral hope these two clowns don't touch another match in the playoffs. Having seen Justin poore sent off twice for punching and the rfl saying that this is the new rule then the law should have been applied.

| When Briers threw the punch the ref and TJ`s said Briers threw the first punch but did not connect.
That is why incidents like that should go to the VR instead of it getting reviewed after the game.

| shocking reffing, couldn't even get the basics right, such as one of the wire lads ripping the ball out from Watkins which then got collected by BJB. Back to six, not scrum Warrington.

| James Childs is and always has been a ref, the fact that you can now punch an opponent (when he has his his back turned which was cowardly to say the least) and there be no other punishment is beyond belief. When we realised it was Childs reffing our first thoughts were "oh " the guy is inept and isn't even a good lino.
There's no doubt for me he won't get anymore games this season unless there is barrel scraping session at Red Hall. The sending off aside he made so many balls ups all of which contributed to the final score. Good luck to Warrington and as for Mr Childs please do one
