| Is anyone else bothered !!! I am sick to death of him, I turn SKY on and he is on every program, I watched the final yesterday and he was doing the introductions on BBC and was interviewed. I have nothing against him, he is not a bad player, but I for one wish he would just go, and go quietly, lets hope he leaves these shores and we can get him off SKY !!!

| I don't get Rugby League fans
We have a Super Star and majority of him want him to leave (and even the sport)

| as a Wigan fan yesterday was the last straw for me, over the last few months i have slowly lost any respect for him that i once had, he was suppose to be doing an introduction of the players and made it more about himself and how funny he is, then during the game he did next to nothing until the last 10 minutes when he repeatedly tried to go on his own for the try rather than pass, and then he gets lucky with a try when the game has already been won and gets all the glory, on 90% of the post match pictures i have seen he seems to be the of attention on them all, theres more players in yesterdays side that deserve more of the credit than the golden child does, i for will be glad to see him go, yes we will miss him but for some reason he seems to think he is bigger than the game, i have a feeling he will get a big sharp shock down under

Go back and watch the game. Time after time he took the ball in off a poor Hull kick and made 20-30 metres. He also put in a beauty of a kick, which we almost scored from. Not mention the numerous half breaks and near misses. He's the best player in this country by a damn country mile, I for one am getting sick of the bile that's coming from Wigan fans because he looks like he might be leaving. Give it a rest, if you were in his position, you'd do the same thing.

| He's a superstar. I hope he stays here. If not then I'd far rather he went to the NRL than to Union.

| He's a superstar and one of the real few in this competition.
The one thing Rugby League players cannot possibly be is over exposed to the media.
I am very surprised Wigan fans would have an ill feeling towards him. Actually, scratch that, not surprised at all.
The one saving grace is he hasn't been lost to Union and will be available for internationals.
I wish the lad well down under.

| He is one player, that is all, there are loads of good players in Super League and I for one would rather hear from some others, as for going down under and not being lost to Rugby League, I don't care, as shown by yesterdays introduction to the Wigan team, he seems to only care for himself.

It's called personality
Which is more than what Jon Wilkin shows when he's ever on tv

There are also loads of very average players in Super League.

He's posted the same shiyte on the Wigan forum.
Garforth is closer to Cas and and a damn sight quicker to get there.
Nuff said.

| I really don't like Tomkins - he's a little Weasel Rat Boy who seems to enjoy being on camera more than he does a pitch, but he also happens to be the best and most exciting player this sport has seen (in this country) for many a year.
The kid is good and he knows it and losing him to the NRL is a real loss to ESL. Those who think otherwise are deluded at best.

At least he's still 'in the game'

| Best player in the country. Hopefully he can make a real crack of it in the NRL, and help make England competitive

| William Eve for your information I am a Rhinos fan and have been for over 50 years, I am entitled to my opinion as you are and I can make it without swearing!!! and I don't have to repeat my words "and and". That said I take your point of view, but I for one will be pleased to see the back of him. Ellery Hanley he ain't and he has done nothing at international level !!! has he? He will get mullered in the NRL. I hope he does make a success of it down under however again I am not interested in the NRL, we need to lead in our game not copy the Aussies.

| I'd be very disappointed if he went to Union. Going to the NRL makes total sense for him. He isn't the most likeable character but he is at least a character and is also the most gifted player this country has produced since Ellery Hanley in my opinion.
I agree that the soft focus montages etc on BBC are a bit much. But they're also not actually his fault.
A blow to SL if he's going but the show will go on. I'd rather that than lose him from the sport altogether.
